Liverpool play in a stadium called anfield. Anfield is situated in the centre of Liverpool. Anfield is situated just down the road from Liverpool's rivals Everton fc. It is an 18 minute walk between the two stadiums.

Anfield was built in 1884. The stadium has been updated ever since adding more space for fans. The stadium was originally occupied by Everton fc but in 1892 Liverpool took over the stadium and Everton moved down to Goodison park. Liverpool's first game could hold 20,000 thousand fans but only 100 turned up. The current capacity of anfield is 54,074 seats but they are remaking a stand adding in 8,500 seats. The name Anfield actually originates in Ireland. The word means "the river field". Anfield is located right beside the border of Kilkenny and Wexford.

Thanks for tuning in to my blog. Here is the greatest anthem in the greatest stadium from the greatest team. Liverpool Fc, You'll Never Walk Alone.

Continuation of my last blog.

Number 5: Adam Lallana signed for Liverpool in 2014. He signed for 25m. Lallana started off his Liverpool career slowly not playing too many games but has become stronger under the new manager Jurgen Klopp. Lallana has since become a

key player in the Liverpool squad playing the wing role.

Number 4: Roberto Firmino signed for Liverpool in 2015. He cost a whopping 29m. Since signing Firmino has done nothing nut improve. Recently he has taken the sriker role and scored 5 goals in 10 games this season.

Number 3: Christian Benteke was signed for Liverpool in 2015. He cost a whopping 32.5 million. After a disappointing season he was sold on to Crystal palace for 30m. It is believed that he was just signed as an impulse buy because the team were low on strike force.

Number 2: Sadio Mane was signed for Liverpool in 2016. He currently plays in the right wingforward position. He signed for a total of 34m. He has had an outstanding start to the season and lets hope he keeps it up. Mane was signed from Southampton. He was worth every penney in my opinion.

Number 1: Let me clear up that I not for one second believe that Carroll should be Liverpool's most expensive signing. Liverpool signed Andy Carroll for 35m after Fernando Torres Left for Chelsea. Carroll was having a great season for Newcastle and with the Absence of Torres Liverpool swooped in to provide a striking partner for Suarez cracking there transfer record. Carroll played 58 games for Liverpool desperately scoring 11 goals. Liverpool were glad to see him move to Newcastle in 2013 after a loan to west Ham.

After seeing some desperate signings I have concluded that the majority of Liverpool signings have improved. This is the top ten most expensive Liverpool signings.

In this weeks blog I will be showing you Liverpool's 10 most expensive signings.

Number 10: Robbie Keane. The Irish man signed for Liverpool in 2008. Keane signed for 19 million. Even though Keane cost so much money he was a bit of a flop! He scored 7 goals in 28 games. For a striker that's disappointing.

Number 9/8: Drawing 9/8th place is Lazar Markovic and Dejan Lovren. Both players signed for Liverpool in 2014 for 20 million. Lazar Markovic never played well for Liverpool and is no longer part of the team. Dejan Lovren who is now a key centre back for Liverpool started off with a bad season. he was very unreliable!

Number 7: In 7th place Fernando Torres signed for Liverpool. Torres signed for 20.2 million. Torres was an outstanding striker for Liverpool scoring 65 goals in 102 appearences. Torres signed for Chelsea Fc in 2011 for 50 million. He is well known amongst Liverpool fans as a legendary striker.

Number 6: Luis Suarez signed for Liverpool in 2011 and is now one of the best strikers in the world. Suarez signed for Liverpool for 22.8 million. he scored 82 goals in 133games. Suarez the moved on to Barcelona.

Number 6: Luis suarez is Liverpools best striker in my opinion. Suarez scored 82 goals in 133 games. He played along side Daniel Sturridge creating a lot of his goals. Suarez signed in 2011 in the January transfer window. He left Liverpool in the 2014/2015 season for 63m to Barcelona.

History of the greatest club

This weeks blog will be based on the history of Liverpool FC. it will include the foundations of the team we know today. Liverpool FC was founded in 1892 after they split off from Everton FC. They joined the league in 1893. Liverpool won promotion in their first attempt. In 1901 Liverpool won their first league title.

In 1959 the big man Roy Hodgson Bill Shankly became the manager. Shankly is believed to be the most iconic Liverpool manager. Supporters consider Shankley to have built the foundations of the great Liverpool teams we know today. By 1964 Liverpool won their 6th title. Also in 1964 Bill Shankly decided to send the team out in all red. Liverpool wear all red as their well known kit nowadays. Liverpool won their first ever UEFA cup (champions league) in 1973, beating Borussia Moenchengladbach.

By 1990 Liverpool had won 18 league titles. Steven Gerrard who is no doubt my favourite player ever, became captain of the club in October 2003. He sadly ended his Liverpool career at the end of 2015 and moved to USA to play his last years. Here is his final farewell to the fans="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dcZG4VU0P8w" it is also down below.

To date Liverpool FC have won 90 trophies. 41 of these were in the highest competitions they could play in ( 18 league championships, 7 FA cups, 8 league cups, 5 European cups, 3 UEFA cups )
